Pamela Day - Wixom, MI
Pamela Day graduated with a BFA from Eastern Michigan University with an emphasis in Clay and Metal and a degree in teaching. She also earned a Master’s in Art Education that led her to a teaching career of nearly 40 years that included middle school, high school, and college. Pamela has drawn and painted for much of her life, and continues to further her study of art. As passionate as she is about teaching, she feels as passionate about making art. Appreciating the camaraderie of working and sharing with other artists, she belongs to several artist groups including Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors, Michigan Watercolor Society, and Michigan Ceramics Art Association. She also belongs to and serves on the Board of the Brighton Art Guild.

This image has offered me a variety of compositions that I have explored with color, proportion, and textures in my own style of stylized-realism. While my Objects of My Passion series focuses on my favorite shoes.”
